Ruby Gloom is a new comedy series for 'tweens' that follows the adventures of Ruby and her off-beat circle of friends. Ruby lives in a Victorian mansion on the outskirts of Gloomsville with her pals Doom Kitty, Skull Boy, Misery, Boo Boo and Mr Buns.

Ruby is the happiest girl in the world, always trying to be cheerful in the face of gloom! Ruby's perfect day is a gloomy one, full of creativity and adventure with her friends.

Some kids might be afraid of the dark, the eccentric neighbours and the unknown things that dwell in the closet. Ruby is different - she befriends these strange and sometimes scary creatures. In fact Ruby finds them all delightful. She pays no attention to their unusual appearances, perceptive only to their hearts and souls.

Ruby Gloom is an ironic comedy with an emphasis on the importance of friendship.

Ruby Gloom consists of 40 x 24-minute episodes

EPISODE 1 - Rumor Gloomer

Ruby plans a surprise party for everyone but due to a series of mishaps and a broken telephone, everyone gets the wrong impression that Ruby's moving out. They plot various ways to make her stay, not the least of which is Misery acting "happy" (result: disaster).

Meanwhile, Frank and Len actually think Ruby is dying and do everything they can to console her during the inevitable "5 stages of death".
