Watch to win holiday in New York!

The Nine Network presents GETAWAY LIVE FROM NEW YORK, hosted by Natalie Gruzlewski from dawn in the Big Apple, on Thursday, May 24 at 7.30pm. This interactive special will give viewers the opportunity to vote for a selection of Getaway stories they want to see from other parts of the world – including the best of Europe, the best ways to experience Queenstown in New Zealand, and some all-time favourites such as the Taj Mahal and Lord Howe Island.

Every viewer who votes will go into the draw to win a trip for two to New York including two economy airfares, seven nights’ accommodation at the W Hotel and spending money. Before each commercial break viewers will be given a choice of three stories they would like to see after the break and invited to SMS their choice of A, B or C to 191 999. During the break, votes will be tallied by state-of-the-art software and Natalie will then announce the results and introduce the winning story.

In GETAWAY LIVE FROM NEW YORK, Jules Lund presents some of the best value things to see and do in the city that never sleeps, checking out the cheapest transport and accommodation, great street food in Manhattan and the quirky side of the Big Apple. Getaway pioneered live and interactive episodes in 2003 and the New York special will be the fifth.

Due to time differences, viewers in SA, WA and NT will not receive the New York special live. However viewers can still vote to win by viewing the story choices online at ninemsn.com.au/Getaway and sending their vote by SMS from May 17 until voting closes on Sunday, May 27 at 11.59pm Eastern Standard Time.
